April Gratitude and Lessons

Happy May! We’re officially out of winter and I couldn’t be happier.

In April I Was Grateful…

  • that I started a new position at my current organization
  • that I was able to extend my time visiting my partner
  • that I was able to turn to my parents for advice
  • for my pets (Chloe, Bubs, Roxie, and Remy)
  • for my partner
  • that I was able to spend Easter with my family
  • that I found a $50 gift card to Barnes and Noble
  • that I was able to spend a few days with my co-workers
  • for comfortable hotel beds
  • for the United Airlines agent that helped me change my flight

In April I Learned…

  • not to wait if something is important
  • to put yourself out there even if there is a possibility of getting rejected
  • to start with kindness
  • high quality will beat quantity every time
  • that you can’t hit a target that you can’t see
  • to let the hurt go
  • that you can only change yourself
  • that people think more highly of you than you think they do
  • to include others that you might not think of
  • that you shouldn’t give of yourself if you don’t have the capacity
