August Gratitude and Lessons

Happy September and Happy Self-Care Awareness Month! I’ve been doing my gratitude and lessons posts for the past year and sadly this will be my last one. I’ve loved sharing what I’ve learned and what I’ve been grateful for every month with all of you on this blog. I have a lot of amazing content for all of you planned out for the next couple of months and I’m excited to continue to grow this blog and community. Now on to what you came for.

In August I Was Grateful…

  • for my business coach and mentor Rosetta Thurman
  • that I was able to spend 2 weeks with my partner
  • for reaching 700 followers on Instagram (thank you!)
  • for fudge
  • that I was able to get my sister settled into her third year of college
  • for all of my pets
  • for the women in my coaching group
  • for all of the new opportunities coming my way
  • for cooler weather
  • that I officially launched my self-care coaching business

By the way, have you followed me yet? Catch up with me daily on Instagram and/or Twitter!

In August I Learned…

  • someone is being inspired by you right now
  • to be more vulnerable with the people who love me
  • to admit to and learn from mistakes
  • how to take critical feedback
  • how to give critical feedback
  • to slow down and only read one book at a time
  • how to create a morning routine that works for me
  • how to create a night routine that works for me
  • to be more present
  • that difficult conversations can lead to beautiful outcomes
